Service description

DeskLuxe provides a booking and discovery service for reservable work desks and passes.

What DeskLuxe does

We present listings of partner venues such as coworking spaces, cafes, and libraries, and we provide tools to filter listings by practical criteria like noise and lighting. We facilitate booking requests and provide booking confirmations and instructions when applicable.

What partners do

Partner venues are responsible for providing the physical space, honoring confirmed reservations, maintaining their venue rules, and ensuring safety and legal compliance on-site.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to book through DeskLuxe. If you book on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to do so.

Pricing, payments, and receipts

We show total pricing before confirmation and provide clear records.

Pricing display

Listing pages display base rates. Checkout displays the total payable amount including applicable taxes and service fees before you confirm. If a price changes due to updated availability or partner settings, the new total will be shown before you complete the booking.

Payments

Payments are required to confirm a booking unless otherwise stated. You authorize DeskLuxe (or our payment service provider) to charge the payment method you provide for the booking total.

Receipts

After booking, you receive a confirmation and a receipt summary suitable for personal records and, where applicable, business expenses.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation rules vary by venue and are shown before you confirm.

Cancellation windows

Each listing specifies its cancellation window and whether the booking is refundable. This information appears on the listing and at checkout. By confirming a booking, you agree to the displayed cancellation terms for that booking.

Late cancellations and no-shows

If you cancel after the cancellation window or do not show up, you may not be eligible for a refund. Some venues may offer partial credits at their discretion; if so, the listing will describe it.

Venue closures or service issues

If a venue cannot honor a confirmed booking due to closure or a significant service issue, contact support. Depending on the situation, we may offer a reschedule, credit, or refund consistent with applicable law and payment processing rules.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer laws.

Acceptable use

We keep DeskLuxe safe and useful for everyone.

Do not misuse the site, including attempts to disrupt service or bypass security.
Provide accurate information when making a booking or requesting support.
Respect venue rules, staff instructions, and other guests at partner locations.
Do not use DeskLuxe for unlawful activity or harmful content.

We may suspend access if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms or acted in a way that could harm our users, partners, or the platform.

Liability and disclaimers

We aim to be reliable and transparent, with reasonable limits.

Platform availability

We strive to keep the site available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may perform maintenance or updates, and occasional downtime can occur.

Venue experience

Partner venues control their premises and operations. While we curate and verify listing details, the on-site experience can be affected by factors outside our control, such as unexpected crowding or temporary changes. We encourage you to contact support if listing information appears inaccurate.

Limitations

To the extent permitted by law, DeskLuxe is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, or other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Changes to these terms

We may update terms when the service changes or the law requires it.

If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide notice where appropriate. Continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
